About

I am an ag girl
Welcome to Crystal Cattle. It's about sharing agriculture’s story, encouraging the consumer to ask where their food comes from, and providing farmers and ranchers a tool kit to be advocates for agriculture.

I  grew up on her my family's purebred Simmental cattle farm in Alberta, Canada. College took me south to Kansas State University, and the Midwest has quickly become home. Today and my husband, "The Boy" and I  own and operate JJB Cattle Co., a purebred Hereford and crop farm in northeast Iowa.

In 2009, I began blogging under the came Crystal Cattle. Through my posts, Twitter updates, Facebook page, Pinterest and Instagram photos I try to give you a glimpse of my life on the farm, and don't forget about everything turquoise, fashion, recipes and photography!

Favorite quote. “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want,” - Zig Ziglar.

I have enjoyed sharing my stories and experiences with a wide range of audiences, love building relationships with others, and can wait to connect with you.
